We define business engineering as the systematic redesign and transformation of business models with a focus on IT and the proven user-centric approach to digitization.
Our basic premise in business engineering is that the added value created for the customer essentially determines the value of the company. In this context, we see ICT as a key enabler for business process improvement by reducing transaction costs. For existing and emerging companies, organizations can be divided into 4 design areas:

• the leadership;

• the process organization;

• the organizational structure; and

• the information systems.

The four sub-areas form the basis for the application of the Business Model Canvas and the application of professional business engineering methods. Among others, our IT experts have experience in the following methods: e3-Value; Service Blueprint, creation of task chain diagrams and general modularization of business processes. We would be happy to support you with our IT experts.

Release management, test management and system engineering are further important building blocks for the successful progress of programs and projects, in which we support our customers from start to finish.

In Release Management, for example, we ensure that configuration changes are properly integrated into the existing infrastructure for our customers.

In test management, we ensure that the end result for our customers is exactly what is desired.

In the area of system engineering, we support our customers in all relevant areas and ensure that technical matters can also be handled safely and to a high standard of quality, and that software and hardware are optimally coordinated.

ICT and enterprise architecture includes all static and dynamic framework conditions of the information and communication technology of a company or organization. It represents a guideline that describes the basic structures and at the same time coordinates the interaction of all components.

Basic structures / infrastructure are hardware, software, networks and communication facilities.

The management mechanisms (e.g. configuration and capacity planning, load distribution, data backup, availability, fail-safety, risk management, etc.) ensure that these components work together smoothly and efficiently.

In a first step, our architects analyze the existing systems and business processes of our customers in order to be able to subsequently develop a detailed architecture concept that includes organizational, technical and commercial aspects and thus offers a holistic added value for our customers. Together with our customers, we are also happy to implement the final agreed concept.

Our business analysts document the structures, business, production and communication processes of our customers as a basis for their studies and concepts. To this end, they determine the requirements and expectations of different people and groups of people (stakeholders) within and outside the company. They understand professional requirements engineering, documentation and change management. In this way, the target state and possible solutions along the way can be presented in an understandable way according to the needs of our customers.

These services relieve the project management and form the basis for each organization to generate the optimal added value from a project. Last but not least, reliable requirements elicitation forms the basis for successful test management and a clean project conclusion.

A core area of our services is project management, which encompasses several hierarchical levels. From program management, (partial-) project management to the project management office, we offer our customers the optimal support to successfully lead, advise or accompany entire programs and projects from start to finish. We can skillfully apply our know-how to IT projects.

Whether projects are stuck with the "traffic light" on red or projects in unfamiliar territory for an organization, especially in IT, our experienced project specialists will bring them forward.

Program Lead

Successful programs are important to any organization, especially in our digitized and highly paced world. Experienced IT leadership is key to success and they work across disciplines. Our program managers structure our customers' demands for future-oriented user-centric digitization and further development into individual coordinated projects and work packages. Our program managers always maintain an overview of the individual projects, steer them with foresight and support the project managers in their work.

Project Lead

Every project needs a professional as project manager and, depending on its size, it also needs sub-project managers. The project manager leads and supervises the project and the team entrusted with it. He plans and works with foresight and provides information on an ongoing basis and at the appropriate level. He acts as a motivator and at the same time as a link to the management or the client. Our project managers are experienced, certified and capable of performing this extremely demanding task for our clients. In doing so, we adapt methodically to the specifications of the organization. We lead projects from their initialization, for example according to HERMES, through the concept, the realization and the implementation. We are also happy to take on the roles of Scrum Master or Product Owner in agile procedures.

Subproject Management

Project managers are usually busy with many administrative tasks. As a result, there is often not enough time for actual project monitoring, coordination, planning and communication. In addition, in the agile IT environment, the management of requirements is becoming increasingly complex. This is exactly where our project office services come in. So that project managers can concentrate on the essentials - namely project management - we relieve them of work that requires a great deal of administrative effort and time. Thus, the project is supported in its core and relieved financially.

Project Management Office

For program management, a functioning Project Management Office (PMO) is a key factor. This is because in these programs in particular, it is not only necessary to regularly monitor key figures and planning over wide areas, but also to aggregate them in advance and prepare them in a way that is appropriate for the requirements of the project group. Here, complex documentation has to be created, which is professionally taken over by the PMO.

By consulting, we mean actively advising our customers with a focus on IT and digitization. It is important to us that we can also pass on our IT know-how to the customer's employees and not just do our job for the duration of a project. In projects, a lot is often achieved with technical coaching / consulting.

Our goal is not to leave people with a lot of responsibility in a project organization alone, but to support them in making the right decisions. These sparring partnerships can, for example, be combined with a project-internal quality assurance.

Often there is the situation of conflicts of interest and different perceptions of the factual situation of different stakeholders especially in IT projects. In such situations, a project manager may well reach his or her limits and there seems to be no way forward.

This situation can be resolved with the help of a neutral and professional outside view from our experienced IT consultants and IT project managers.
