HERMES is the federal government's project management method and a binding requirement for many sectors for the implementation of their projects.

In the near future, the Confederation will issue a new, completely revised version of HERMES, in the development of which one of our specialists is directly involved.

Build on the vast experience of our HERMES experts, who have gained their experience in up to 25 years of working in the HERMES environment in the set-up, company-specific adaptation, introduction and practical application of HERMES, and be prepared for the new version of HERMES!
Our following modules are available for this purpose.

House-specific tailoring of HERMES

We adapt HERMES to the needs of your organisation. We embed HERMES in your existing processes and support you in the introduction of HERMES with the help of specific in-house training courses as well as with the coaching of your project commissioners, your project managers and project staff in the application of your company-specific HERMES.

"Agilisation" of your HERMES

To help you keep pace with development, we integrate the increasingly used SCRUM and SAFe methods into your project approach. We complement your HERMES with the specific tasks, results and roles that are used in SCRUM and SAFe.

Training and coaching of your clients in HERMES projects

Experience shows that your project commissioners are an important factor for the success of your projects. In particular, the success of your projects depends on how your project owners fulfil their tasks in the project. HERMES includes a number of control tasks that are assigned to the project owners. We support you through specific short training of your project assignors and line managers and through targeted coaching of your project assignors in their operational activities in the projects.

User-Centered Design (UCD) is a central approach for us in the development of our customer solutions. Iterative design processes allow our IT experts to focus on users and their needs at every stage of the project. With UCD, the requirements as well as use cases are based on knowledge that is tailored to the users on a project-specific basis via various user research and design techniques. This ensures that we build user-friendly and accessible products for them.

All UCD processes are iterative in nature and the same at their core. Whether it is Lean-UX, ISO-9241-210 or Goal-Directed Design: All processes have in common that in a first phase the problem analysis takes place with associated user research, these findings are then processed in a second phase so that they can be validated in a third phase, e.g. by means of user testing. The results can then be used again as a basis for the first phase until the desired level of detail is reached.

During the various phases, Ironforge consultants can draw on a broad repertoire of proven UCD methods. This modular approach allows us to quickly understand the issues even in complex projects and to show with concrete solution examples which decisions and variants are target-oriented.

By "Modern Workplace" we mean not only a modern workplace, but also a "digital workplace". The focus is not on the digitality of the workplace, but on the fact that it brings together contemporary, modern working methods and technologies. These are adapted to the diversified needs of the employees. More and more system administrators, HR departments and C-level decision-makers are looking at business models that prioritize personal productivity of employees and attractiveness of the employer.

How will the Modern Workplace of the present and future be designed against this background? The design depends on various central questions that each organization and each company must answer for itself: In addition to a clear vision for a new working environment and the appropriate setup for collaboration, it is also about the required hardware and software as well as the core of the corporate identity, which with its cultural backbone contributes decisively to the generated added value of the Modern Workplace. We are happy to accompany organizations and companies on their way to their workplace of the future in terms of user-centric digitalization.

Many of our employees are digital natives: They have witnessed how IT has driven automation and optimization and modernized private households and workplaces. They have also seen the creation of computer networks and the introduction of software products such as office programs and enterprise resource planning systems. What currently concerns us at Ironforge Consulting AG in the topic of digitalization is the handling and introduction of disruptive technologies and innovative business models as well as autonomization, flexibilization and individualization in companies and organizations. We understand digitalization today as a door opener and precursor of the fourth industrial revolution, which is associated with the term Industry 4.0 (also "Enterprise 4.0"). The Corona Crisis has catalyzed digitalization at all levels and many companies are facing major challenges in the digital and organizational environment. We are happy to help with our IT know-how to successfully master these challenges.

One of our focus services addresses the field of GEVER (electronic business administration). This involves the organization and implementation of records management, the electronic mapping of business processes, and topics related to business control. This is especially the case in public administrations and large companies.

At Ironforge, we understand GEVER as the interaction between people, technology and organization (MTO). Accordingly, we align our GEVER services with this MTO concept. Only when these three areas are in a harmonious interaction, GEVER can achieve added value for all parties involved.

As far as the human-technology relationship is concerned, we see ourselves as coaches, trainers, supporters and UX specialists. Here, the ergonomic application of GEVER technologies is in the foreground.

As Business Analysts and Requierements Engineers we build the bridge between organization and technology. We provide support in architecture issues, workflow implementations, template administration and configuration management. The goal is: added value through more efficient and effective business processes.

Furthermore, in the GEVER environment we also see ourselves as strategy consultants, project managers/epic owners/scrum masters, change and test managers.

Do you want to know where your company/organization stands in terms of digitization and what potential there is for optimization and improvement?

We are happy to analyze your institution for you and work with you to develop new solutions and plan the next steps. Of course, we also have the specialists to implement the solutions developed for you or with you right away.

If you would like to know the degree of digitization, you are welcome to ask us for a no-obligation quote for a "Digital Assessment".

We look forward to hearing from you!
